How to prevent phishing and pharming

Eventhough phishing and pharming as well as many other issues with computers won't be solved, there is a way to prevent them.
When you receive an e-mail from your bank, or any other company asking for your information, try to type the address shown in the e-mail into your search bar, and if it does ask you for your information the e-mail is real, if not then that mail was a hacker trying to steal your personal information.
If you're suspicious that there's a virus in your computer, make sure you install a strong anti-virus. Also if you're going to a website make sure that it starts with https, and that it has a close padlock icon in the site bar.
