What are phishing and pharming?

You probably heard about these topics on your ICT class, but for those who don't know, phishing and pharming are ways in which hackers can enter to your private information.

 Phishing often carries out via e-mail, sometimes you recieve an e-mail from a company declaring that you have to ingress or update information, however this could be a trap from ahacker that wants to steal and use your personal information.

Pharming also attempts to steal your information by tampering with the DNS server (a software that converts an internet address into an IP address to connect to the site), either because the user installed a virus without knowing (a troyan), or because the hacker poisoned the DNS server, which causes that the user is redirected to a fake website.
